Use of personally identifiable information
32 Statuses does not allow logins from the general public; as a result, there is no need to gather any type of personal information. If we do not solicit personal information, we have no way to redistribute your personal information. Even if we did solicit personal information, it would stay with us. That’s how we roll.
Cookies and tracking
32 Statuses uses WordPress as it’s blogging engine. WordPress is designed to use cookies to remember a user’s login, and to remember commenters. Since this site does not allow public logins, nor do we allow comments, WordPress cookies should not be placed on your computer.
This site uses Google Analytics to gather statistics about how visitors are using the site. The Google Analytics code does write a cookie to your computer, but it does not include any personally identifying information. For information on how we’re using Google Analytics, see the section “Website logging”, below.
Website logging
This website logs each access, including the your IP address at the time of the request, browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. These logs are maintained for only 30 days, after which, they’re destroyed. Information contained in the logs will remain private unless:
- A proper request is received from a valid U.S. law enforcement entity.
- The information is needed to identify fraud, and limit our exposure from that fraudulent act.
32 Statuses also maintains records of visitors using Google Analytics. These records do not contain personally-identifying information, and are used only to better understand how visitors use this website, and their system capabilities (including, but not limited to, the version of Java, if JavaScript is turned on, the resolution of your monitor, and the speed of your internet connection). This information is kept private with the only exceptions being the two shown above.
